Lake Bennett is good enough to spend more than a day at, Woolly Hollow State Park is a good local campground; float down the rapids of Cadron Creek in a kayak. Lake Bennett is a wet site       that gets much rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is January. All through the long summer days at Lake Bennett highs are commonly in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lake Bennett are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
