Lake Atkins is a nice lake to visit. For the duration of the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 90's at Lake Atkins while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Atkins plunge into the 20's.
