A visit to Lake Alpine is always a good idea. The Ouachita Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Sands Mobile Home Park is a fine campground nearby, and unsurprisingly, this is a wonderful region for people who like lakes, Lake Patricia is a lake close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Pfeifer Camp is a perfect spot to camp, and a delightful nearby hotel is Embassy Suites Hotel Little Rock. The warmest time of the year brings

| | highs in the 90's to Lake Alpine, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lake Alpine. You can take a little tour to Florence Dam if you're here at Lake Alpine, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LITTLE ROCK WEST I-430@EXIT 4 is a great place to get some rest. Little Rock-North Little Rock here at Lake Alpine, and a spree to Deleon Spring will fill your soul with tremendous feelings. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do in the neighborhood of Lake Alpine. You can run
the rapids of Rock Creek in the vicinity of Lake Alpine; probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lake Florence is just a very short distance away. And that's not everything you can do here in the Ouachita Mountains. Saline
River - North Fork is a delightful whitewater spot near Lake Alpine, and a journey to Hot Springs National Park is worthwhile. Lake Alpine typically gets a great deal of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here; January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.

Then you are talking about going through the heart of Little Rock, with street overpasses some barely clearing the creek, lots of debris, etc.... |
