Lake Alma is a wet spot that gets lots of rainfall; through May this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Crabtree Rv Park since you're here at Lake Alma, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Eagle Crest Golf Course. Lake Alma is a beautiful lake in the Boston Mountains. Get       your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Cedar Creek, and do take a hike on the Butterfield Hiking Trail. All through the warmest time of the year at Lake Alma temperatures are mostly in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are mostly in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Lake Alma temperatures fall to the 20's. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Boston Mountains. Lake Alma is not                  the only place close by, Morris Lake is a close by lake, and people from Fort Smith love to come here. All year is a pleasant time in the Boston Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. You don’t have to go far from Lake Alma to spot the water at Lake Alma Dam, and if you've had enough of Lake Alma, Hall Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A great location to camp here at Lake Alma is Alma RV Park, and if you need a place to stay Alma-Days Inn is a splendid choice. If only every place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great world it would be.
