It's always fun to stop by Lake Alma. For the period of the warm days of summer at Lake Alma highs are ordinarily in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Lake Alma dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Paddling on Frog Bayou is so much fun; enjoy a round of golf at Eagle Crest Golf Course. While you're here at Lake Alma you can take a hike along the Butterfield

| | Hiking Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Alma that you need to camp here for a while, Alma RV Park is a fine place for that.
Lake Alma is a wet site that gets lots of rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is January. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Boston Mountains. This is a popular place for people from Fort Smith. The Boston Mountains scenery is always beautiful.

proximity to Lake Alma Dam which is a gorgeous spot beyond doubt worth taking a look at, and Lake Alma is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Alma Koa Kampground is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort
