A visit to Lake Abby is always a good idea. For the duration of the summer months at Lake Abby highs are typically in the 90's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, generally in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Lake Abby. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Abby that you need to camp here for a while, Petit Jean State Park is a magnificent location for that,

| | and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Galla Creek. Cedar Falls is a scenic place to visit while you're at Lake Abby, and some of the water close by flows, like Galla Creek.

All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Abby a wet site; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is January. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Russellville is a
good spot to spend a night or two, and Lake Abby is good enough to spend more than a day at, Bells Chapel Bait Shop and RV is a good local campground. A good nearby hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Russellville here.
