Whaley Lake is a lake close by, and why not camp at Shady Pines RV Park while you're here at LaVoice Lake. LaVoice Lake truly is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Interesting geology is available here; Hudson Bow is in close proximity to LaVoice Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Americas Best Value Inn - New Boston is a great place to get some rest, and needless to say Red Bayou is a beautiful       stream that is worth going to. A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites NEW BOSTON; there are plenty of folks from Texarkana here at LaVoice Lake. High temperatures at LaVoice Lake all through the warm days of summer are in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are mostly in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at LaVoice Lake. All the water falling down from                  the sky makes LaVoice Lake a wet place; May is the wettest month with most rain, and August is when it's the driest.
