Koban Lake Dam is not far at all from Koban Lake, and get soaked paddling on Rock Creek. The warmest time of the year at Koban Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's; the night is somewhat colder of course, mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's; through the dark hours in the       wintertime at Koban Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Koban Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Pfeifer Camp is a good local campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Ouachita Mountains. The smiling people of Little Rock-North Little Rock like to hang out close by, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LITTLE ROCK-WEST is a wonderful site to get some rest. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do                  are beyond doubt bountiful here at Koban Lake. There's so much to do here at Koban Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sands Mobile Home Park is a good place for that; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Lake Nixon. Koban Lake is one of the lakes here in the Ouachita Mountains. All year is a magnificent time in the Ouachita Mountains if you like the outdoors. Dry warm beds await you at TownePlace Suites Little Rock West, and drift down the rapids of Saline River - North Fork in a kayak. Some of the water nearby flows, like Payne Branch, and not far from Koban Lake you'll hit upon Gardner Company Lake which is a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful.
