All the outdoors fun things in the Boston Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. You can run the rapids of Cedar Creek - West Fork near Kimmons Lake, and if you get bored of Kimmons Lake you could also stop at close by Wofford Lake. Kimmons       Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. At Kimmons Lake all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Kimmons Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. Camping at Phoenix Villa Mobile Home                  Park is always a nice experience; after a long day outdoors Travelodge Fort Smith is a great spot to spend a night or two. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Kimmons Lake, too great to be true. On a delightful day you obtain a vista of George Mountain from Kimmons Lake, and if you're visiting from Fort Smith, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful.
