There are some splendid whitewater spots on Bayou Des Arc River, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Cabot is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Hickory Creek Golf       Course & Driving Range, and if you've had enough of Keener Lake, Wilkins Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Keener Lake has to offer, you can camp at Oakley Estates Mobile Home Park, and there are plenty of folks from Little Rock-North Little Rock here at Keener Lake. All through the summer highs here at Keener Lake get into the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are                  usually in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Keener Lake are in the 20's. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Keener Lake. Keener Lake Dam is not far at all from Keener Lake; there's whitewater on Cadron Creek - East Fork for all you thrill seekers. All the water falling down from the sky makes Keener Lake a wet place; May is the wettest month with most rain, and August is the month with the least moisture. Don't forget to take a glorious little trip to Blue Branch, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes?
