Stay the night at Y City Mountain Inn; if you come at the right time of year, Jack Creek offers some fine whitewater. The high level of rain makes Keenan Lake a rather wet place; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Boy Scouts Lake Dam is a site that is close to Keenan Lake, and Keenan Lake is not the only       spot close by, Lake Lakima is a close by lake. All the outdoors fun things in the Ouachita Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. If you get bored of Keenan Lake, you could also check out close by Lake Takima; glide down the rapids of Sugar Creek in a kayak. Any time is a pleasant time at Keenan Lake if you go for the outdoors. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous nearby hotel is Days Inn Ozark; unsurprisingly Brushy Creek is a lovely stream                  that is worth visiting.
