All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the neighborhood of Jones Lake will keep you coming back time and again. Jones Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Ivys Cove RV Retreat is a glorious local campground, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Russellville is a good site to spend a night or two. This lake is located in the wonderful Boston Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn       & Suites is a good spot to get some rest. Jones Lake is a rather wet place typically with a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is January. Summertime highs at Jones Lake usually tend to be in the 90's, and the night is a little chillier of course, regularly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Jones Lake. Not                  far from Jones Lake you acquire some great water scenery at Jones Lake Dam, and don't leave Jones Lake without first going for a hike along the Cowan Hollow Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cedar Creek; Cove Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. Just can't get enough of the Boston Mountains. A lake nearby is Galla Watershed Site One Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Jones Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bells Chapel Bait Shop and RV is a nice place for that. And if that's not enough there's a heap more enjoyable things to do in the Boston Mountains. If you're stopping by Jones Lake from Russellville, you won't be the only one, and Galla Creek Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore.
