A glorious close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn/Carlisle, and there are other locations here than Jarvis Lake, for example Joe Uhiren Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at T Ricks Campground, and Americas Best Value Inn and Suites-Shepherd is a great place to get some rest. Joe Uhiren Reservoir Dam is worth visiting since you're here; Parker Lake is a glorious lake nearby. The high level of rainfall makes Jarvis Lake a relatively wet place;
