This is a great region for folks who like lakes. East Fork Point Remove Site One Reservoir is a lake nearby, and after a long day outdoors The Sycamore is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. The high level of rain makes Jackson Lake a relatively wet location; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is January. All year is a pleasant time in       the Boston Mountains if you go for the outdoors. A great site to camp here at Jackson Lake is Cadron Creek Outfitters. Jackson Lake is located in the Boston Mountains. So many exciting things to do here in the Boston Mountains, too great to be true. Jackson Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Whispering Pines Trailer Park is a brilliant local campground, and Jackson Lake Dam has perfect water scenery. From Jackson Lake you obtain a glorious                  vista of Crowell Mountain, and some nearby water includes Akins Creek. Best Western Hillside Inn is a magnificent location to get some rest; paddling on Little Red River - South Fork is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Little Red River - Archey's Fork has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and you're probably addicted to lakes, East Fork Point Remove Site Two Reservoir is one of those close by. Summertime highs at Jackson Lake generally tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's.
