A glorious place for whitewater paddling close to Jackson Lake is Little Red River - South Fork; you obtain a pleasant panorama of Crowell Mountain from here. This lake is so wonderful. There's so       much to do here at Jackson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cadron Creek Outfitters is a tremendous site for that, and Akins Creek is in the neighborhood of Jackson Lake and is always a pleasure to visit. So much enjoyable stuff in the Boston Mountains, just phenomenal. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Jackson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Whispering Pines Trailer Park, and Jackson Lake Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check                  out. For the period of the months of summer here at Jackson Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 90's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Jackson Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. You absolutely must go for Jackson Lake.
