If you get bored of Jackson Lake, you could also stop at close by Fuller Lake, and you can stay the night at Kettle Campground and Cabins. For the period of the summer at Jackson Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Jackson Lake. This lake is so       wonderful. Howard Johnson Express Inn Eureka Springs is a brilliant place to get some rest; Berryville Mobile Home Park is a good campground nearby. Jackson Lake gets a large amount of water; June is the month that gets the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Be careful coming to Jackson Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. There's always Jackson Lake Dam to go to right next door to Jackson Lake, and a pleasant site for whitewater                  paddling is Clark Creek. Man, is there plenty of fun things to do in the Ozarks. You can run the rapids of Kings River right next door to Jackson Lake; Crystal Mountain is stunning and can be seen from here. You clearly must have a thing about the Ozarks.
