The high level of rainfall makes Hudson Lake a quite wet site; throughout May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is August. Do have a look at Applewhite Cut-off Lake near Hudson Lake, it's a scenic lake, and Hudson Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Kelly Creek Campground is a magnificent local campground. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites NEW BOSTON       is a good location to get some rest, and camping at Shady Pines RV Park is always a great experience. Be careful coming to Hudson Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. Summertime highs at Hudson Lake mostly tend to be in the 90's while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 50's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Hudson Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. There's some flowing water                  nearby, Spring Branch is a stream you can explore while you're here, and there are plenty of people from Texarkana here at Hudson Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
