An afternoon playing golf at Magic Hills Public Golf Course is always a pleasure; lakes are such calm places, why not check out Bethel Lake. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Ouachita Mountains. Gulpha Creek has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by; camping at Pit Stop RV Park and Restaurant is always       a perfect experience. If you're visiting Hot Springs Reservoir from Hot Springs, you won't be the only one; if you haven’t been to Hot Springs National Park, you must schedule some time for it while you're here. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Phil's Mobile Home Park is a good place to do that, and you'll locate a striking lake called Dillon Lake. High temperatures at                  Hot Springs Reservoir during the summer months are in the 90's; the night is a tad colder of course, typically in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Hot Springs Reservoir. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hot Springs Reservoir a wet place; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is January. This place rules, just check out all the enjoyable things to do right next door to Hot Springs Reservoir. If you need a location to stay Springs Hotel and Spa is a magnificent choice; why not stop at Ricks Dam since you're here. That right there is a load of amusing things already but it goes on, the Ouachita Mountains has it all.
