If you came to camp Whitney Lane RV Park is a good spot to do that; if you come at the right time of year, Salado Creek offers some great whitewater. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Hill Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Hill Lake dip into       the 20's. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Boston Mountains. A good close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SEARCY; a great sight of picturesque Tater Hill is available. This lake is so wonderful. This location, the Boston Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. Do stop by Hill Lake Dam since you're here at Hill Lake. There's so much to do here at Hill Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wyldewood Retreat center                  & Summer is a great site for that. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Big Creek; there are other places here than Hill Lake, for example Chavell Lake Two. Hill Lake is a rather wet place regularly with a good deal of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain; January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Microtel Inn And Suites Searcy is a great choice; Hill Lake is not far at all from Searcy. Lakes are such calm places, why not go to Bridges Lake near Hill Lake; a quick tour to Cedar Branch is undeniably a fine idea.
