Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Ouachita Mountains. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Henry Lake. If you came to camp Coffee Creek Landing and Motel is a pleasant spot to do that; there's some attention-grabbing stuff to spot at Henry Lake Dam near Henry Lake. Scottish Inns Morrilton is a good location to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is delightful       on Cedar Creek. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. After a long day outdoors Morrilton Days Inn is a great place to spend a night or two; Henry Lake is not the only place nearby, Deltic Farms Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Lake Norrell Spillway is so much fun, and Bell Branch is near Henry Lake and is always a diversion to visit. There's so much to do here at Henry Lake that you need to camp here                  for a while, Lake Sylvia Campground is a great location for that, obviously you could also stop by Lake Sylvia while you're here; it's not far at all. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Henry Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Henry Lake fall into the 20's. Henry Lake commonly gets a large amount of precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
