Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Boston Mountains. Going for a hike along the Butterfield Hiking Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; you can run the rapids of White River - Middle Fork. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Adams Lake, and the panorama of wonderful Everett Mountain is magnificent. Be careful coming       to Heflin Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. If the weather is pleasant here at Heflin Lake, you can go for a hike along the Shores Lake Water Rock Spur; there are plenty of people from Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers here at Heflin Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on White River - West Fork for all you adrenaline kick people. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more exciting stuff to do in the Boston Mountains. Heflin                  Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Silver Leaf Camp Park is a great local campground, and as expected, this is a magnificent vicinity for people who like lakes, Lake Wilson is a lake in the vicinity. Heflin Lake is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a large amount of rain; during May this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Staybridge Suites FAYETTEVILLE is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and if you came to camp Winn Creek RV Retreat is a great location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Cosmopolitan Hotel, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Heflin Lake Dam. At Heflin Lake through the summertime highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Heflin Lake.
