So many exciting things in the Boston Mountains, just amazing. Comfort Inn Clarksville is a magnificent site to get some rest, and you can run the rapids of Little Piney Creek. Harris Pond is located in the Boston Mountains. This is a popular place for folks from Russellville, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Illinois Bayou - East Fork. This lake is so wonderful. There's pleasant hiking       along the Peggy Steep Trail, and Shoal Creek Methodist Camp is a nice campground here. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Harris Pond has it all. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Boston Cutoff, and if you came for an overnight stay Dad's Dream RV Park is a splendid place to camp. And that's not all there is to do here in the Boston Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Harris Pond; Grassy Point Trail is a splendid local                  trail. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sherwood Motor Inn, and you don’t have to go far from Harris Pond to make out the water at Harris Pond Dam. The high level of rain makes Harris Pond a reasonably wet site; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is January. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Harris Pond. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's.
