Man, is there a lot of exciting things to do in close proximity to Harper Reservoir. Throughout the summer at Harper Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and overnight lows at Harper Reservoir during the winter usually fall into the 30's. There are plenty of people from El Dorado here at Harper Reservoir, and a pleasant close by       hotel is La Quinta Inn El Dorado. Harper Reservoir is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's so much to do here at Harper Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Country Living Park is a tremendous site for that, and don't forget to take a good little visit to Polly Branch. Harper Reservoir Dam is delightful and                  it's right next door to Harper Reservoir, and Comfort Suites El Dorado is a good spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
