If you are traveling by, why not stop by Hammond Lake. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Boston Mountains, too brilliant to be true. Not far from Hammond Lake you acquire some pleasant water scenery at Hammond Lake Dam; Hammond Lake is right by the Shores Lake Water Rock Spur. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Frog Bayou is so much fun, and Alma-Days Inn is a nice site to get some rest.

| | Butterfield Hiking Trail offers hiking at its best; a great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites. Hammond Lake is a relatively wet place frequently with a lot of rain; most of the rain falls all through May while January is commonly the driest month.
At Hammond Lake through the warm months highs are in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for | |

Hammond Lake. Man, is there heaps of entertaining stuff to do in the Boston Mountains. Clear Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Hammond Lake has to offer, you
can camp at KOA Campgrounds. Be careful coming to Hammond Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Hammond Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Alma Koa Kampground is a brilliant place to camp nearby. Lakes? Sure, Brandenburg Lake is around here.
