After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn & Suites is a magnificent place to spend a night or two; a great place to camp here at H and P Lake is Miner's Camp. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are splendid; Smith Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to H and P Lake, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Hope for sure. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll go for H and P Lake. There are       great sites to discover along the Gypsum Trail. Going for a hike on the Kizzia Trail is always a good adventure, and not far from H and P Lake you obtain some great water scenery at H and P Lake Dam. All the water falling down from the sky makes H and P Lake a wet site; May is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer brings highs in the 90's to H and P Lake, and all through the night it cools                  down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at H and P Lake fall into the 20's.
