Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Boston Mountains. Rockhouse Hollow is a glorious spot to explore close by, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Quality Inn Heber Springs, and a splendid spot to camp here at Grisso Lake is Swinging Bridge Trout Dock. You'll meet a lot of folks       from Searcy here, and camping is available at Spring Mountain Retreat. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Boston Mountains. What would a location like Grisso Lake be without exciting nearby marks like Cooter Neck Bend, and there's whitewater on Possum Walk Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. Much rain falls at Grisso Lake; March is when you get the most rain here; January on the other hand is the driest. So much exciting stuff to                  do here at Grisso Lake, too glorious to be true. Why not visit Grisso Lake Dam if you're here, and Searcy-Days Inn is a tremendous location to get some rest. This lake is located in the wonderful Boston Mountains. High temperatures at Grisso Lake during the summertime are in the 90's while night lows are regularly in the 60's.
