Two Springs is a scenic site to visit while you're at Green Lake, and soar down the rapids of Rock Creek in a kayak. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Ouachita Mountains. After a long day outdoors Embassy Suites Little Rock is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Little       Rock-North Little Rock. Green Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is January. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is abundant here in the Ouachita Mountains. Green Lake Dam is stunning and it's in close proximity to Green Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Lake Norrell Spillway offers some brilliant whitewater. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Green Lake,                  too great to be true. Dry warm beds await you at TownePlace Suites Little Rock West, and if you wish for a little side visit, try Bland Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Hot Springs National Park is a national park worth visiting. Throughout the days of summer here at Green Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Green Lake are in the 20's. Green Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Pfeifer Camp is a good place to camp nearby. Lakes are great; Green Bear Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Green Lake.
