If you are in this part of Arkansas make sure to pay a visit to Green Lake. The Ouachita Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is plentiful here in the Ouachita Mountains. Hot Springs National Park is a great place near Green Lake, and a short journey to Two Springs is always worthwhile. Bland Hollow is a nice spot to explore, and Green Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out.

At Green Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The wintertime brings
highs down to the 50's; through the dark hours in the winter at Green Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Norrell Spillway is a good whitewater spot right next door to Green Lake, and why not camp at
Branch Hollow Mobile Home Park while you're here at Green Lake.
There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Ouachita Mountains. There are other locations here than Green Lake, for example Cecil White Reservoir, and camping is available at Salem Pines Mobile Home Park.
