If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Grassy Lake. Lakes? Sure, Lake Hospitality is in close proximity, and camping at KOA Kampgrounds is always a fine experience. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Grassy Lake with overnight lows in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are regularly in the 50's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Grassy Lake tend       to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Grassy Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Millwood State Park is a good local campground, and Ramada Texarkana is a splendid place to get some rest. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Trout Lake, and get dripping wet paddling on Saline River. Grassy Lake commonly gets a large amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May while August is the                  month with the least amount of precipitation. If you're here at Grassy Lake, you could stop by Blacks Branch; golf can be played at Back Nine Golf Course.
