This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Goforth Reservoir is wonderful fun, Deer Run Park is a wonderful local campground, also Goforth Lake Dam is worth going to since you're here. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Goforth Reservoir, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and during the       dark hours in the winter at Goforth Reservoir temperatures drop to the 20's. Man, is there a load of fun stuff to do in the Boston Mountains. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Batesville, Ar is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and getting to Miller Creek from Goforth Reservoir is easy. Goforth Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Boston Mountains. A fine close by hotel is Ramada Inn, and paddling on Strawberry River                  is so much fun.
