Gibson Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ouachita Mountains. If you get bored of Gibson Lake, you could also go to close by Kingfisher Lake, and Cedar Creek has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Take a side spree to Smiley Bayou, and you can stay the night at Bluff Hole - Ozark-St. Francis National Forest. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to       stay Quality Inn Russellville is a fine choice, and at Gibson Lake you always meet someone from Russellville. In case you don�t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Galla Creek, and a delightful close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites. Gibson Lake is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a good deal of precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. And that's not everything you                  can do here in the Ouachita Mountains. Open Slough is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and Gibson Lake is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Aux Arc - Ozark-St. Francis National Forest is a tremendous site to camp nearby. All through the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Gibson Lake with overnight lows in the 60's.
