There's some flowing water close by, Cove Branch is a stream you can explore while here; tremendous hiking is available along the Cowan Hollow Trail. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Galla Creek Lake reach the       90's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, usually in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Galla Creek Lake. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Paddling on Galla Creek is so much fun, and Galla Watershed Site One Lake Dam is not far at all from Galla Creek Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Galla Creek Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than                  a day at, Bells Chapel Bait Shop and RV is a pleasant local campground, and a beautiful lake like Lake Yarbrough is a nice spot to pop by. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Boston Mountains. Soar down the rapids of Cedar Creek in a kayak, and at Galla Creek Lake you always meet someone from Russellville. Galla Creek Lake is a reasonably wet place usually with a good deal of rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Galla Watershed Site One Reservoir is a fine lake near Galla Creek Lake. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is abundant here in the Boston Mountains.
