At Fowler Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 90's; the nighttime is a little colder of course, generally in the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Fowler Lake. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great earth it would be. Arrington Creek is in the vicinity of       Fowler Lake and is always a delight to check out; Fowler Lake is right by the Alum Cove National Recreation Trail. A good place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Fowler Lake is Beech Creek, and Fowler Lake is not far at all from Harrison. This lake is so wonderful. Why not go to Fowler Lake Dam while you're here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Boston Cutoff. If you came to camp Top Of The Mountain Park is a brilliant place to do                  that; hiking is a popular thing to do around Fowler Lake; Turkey Trail is a tremendous local trail. Fowler Lake regularly gets much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest of the months is January. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Boston Mountains has to offer. This lake is located in the wonderful Boston Mountains. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Boston Mountains is peerless! You can run the rapids of Boen Gulf Branch in the neighborhood of Fowler Lake.
