Fountain Lake is not far at all from Hot Springs; Hot Springs National Park is a brilliant national park. All through the summertime months at Fountain Lake temperatures are commonly in the 90's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while Fountain Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.       Looking for something near Fountain Lake? O'Mahoney Pond is close by. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Fountain Lake has to offer, you can camp at Brookhill Ranch. This place, Fountain Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Hot Springs, and you can take a little journey to Fountain Lake Dam if you're here at Fountain Lake. That right there is heaps of amusing stuff already but it goes                  on, the Ouachita Mountains has it all. After a long day outdoors Knights Inn Hot Springs is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and right next door to Fountain Lake you come across a golf course called Magic Hills Public Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Forest Lake is in the vicinity of Fountain Lake, and Gulpha Creek is a great whitewater spot nearby. Fountain Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January on the other hand is the driest. Be careful coming to the Ouachita Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again.
