Forest Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Big Chalybeate Spring, also Forest Lake Dam is worth visiting if you're here. Summertime at Forest Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's; the overnight is rather colder of course, frequently in the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 40's while Forest Lake overnight low temperatures throughout

| | the winter are in the 20's. Forest Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most while January is mostly the driest month.
Forest Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ouachita Mountains. If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Forest Lake. A round of golf at nearby Magic Hills Public Golf Course is a splendid way to kill some time; Gulpha Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. | |

J&J RV Park is a wonderful campground here; if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn is a wonderful choice.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Ouachita Mountains. Camping at Forest Lake is brilliant fun, Hot Springs Koa Kampground
is a brilliant local campground, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saline River - Middle Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Hot Springs Knights Inn;
do pay a visit to Hot Springs National Park while you're here at Forest Lake.
But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. You'll meet a lot of people from Hot Springs here, and if you're here, you could also stop at wonderful Country Club Lake.
