Forest Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Forest Lake. A great spot for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Forest Lake is Gulpha Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Hot Springs Koa Kampground is a glorious location to camp. Through the warm days of summer here at Forest Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours

| | it's regularly in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows during the winter for Forest Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A short tour to Big Chalybeate Spring is always worthwhile, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Hot Springs here. while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is located in the wonderful Ouachita Mountains.
