Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Little Mill Creek, and if you need a place to stay Days Inn Ozark is a good choice. Man, is there a heap of fun things to do in the Boston Mountains. Flanagan Lake Dam is worth visiting if you're here, and a splendid close by hotel is Days Inn Alma. Flanagan Lake is a wet place that       gets lots of rain; May is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. This is a great region for folks who like lakes. Sixmile Creek Site 21 Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood, and if you came for an overnight stay Chateau Aux Arc RV Park is a perfect place to camp. For the duration of the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Flanagan Lake, and throughout                  summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Flanagan Lake. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Boston Mountains, too perfect to be true. There's perfect hiking along the Shores Lake Water Rock Spur; perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lake Number 21 is just a very short distance away.
