Ferguson Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls during May, and the driest month is August. If you need a site to stay Americas Best Value Inn and Suites/Little Rock is a wonderful choice, and there's whitewater on Rock Creek for all you adrenaline kick people.
And that's not all you can do
 
   here at Ferguson Lake. There's always Waldron Lake Dam to go to in the neighborhood of Ferguson Lake; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Waldron Lake. Take a side spree to Clear Creek. Lakes? Sure, Big Lake is close at hand. All through the summertime here at Ferguson Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 90's. Summer night lows sink down to the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Ferguson Lake night  
               low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful. A and B Town and Country Mobile Home is a pleasant local campground, and you'll probably meet some people from Little Rock-North Little Rock here.

You've got to be kidding me... The only time there's enough water in this creek to float would be after a huge storm, at that point we are talking flood stage. Then you are talking about going through the heart of Little Rock, with street overpasses some barely clearing the creek, lots of debris, etc....
