High temperatures at Faulkner Lake through the months of summer are in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and night lows at Faulkner Lake through the winter typically sink into the 20's. That right there is loads of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Ouachita Mountains has it all. Ouachita River is a great whitewater spot close to Faulkner       Lake, and Faulkner Lake Dam is beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mill Creek. There's so much to do here at Faulkner Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Queen Wilhelmina State Park is a magnificent spot for that. This lake is located in the wonderful Ouachita Mountains. Having a good time at Faulkner Lake is uncomplicated. If you came to camp                  Wolf Pen Gap Atv Campground is a perfect place to do that; if you're here, you could pop by Big Fork. There is a good hiking trail close to Faulkner Lake called the Gap Mountain Trail, and if you need a place to stay Western Plaza Inn is a good choice.
