If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Ouachita Mountains.       This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, J and B Lake is in the vicinity, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Ouachita River. Faulkner Lake regularly gets much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May; January meanwhile is the driest month. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Faulkner Lake. Take a little trip to Big Fork since you're here at Faulkner Lake, and Western Plaza Inn                  is a nice spot to get some rest. The Ouachita Mountains scenery is always beautiful. There are other places here than Faulkner Lake, for example Hatfield Lake, and there's whitewater on Mill Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. Through the long summer days here at Faulkner Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's.
