The beauty of Echols Lake attracts many people from all around. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Boston Mountains is excellent! In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cedar Creek - West Fork. All through the summer at Echols Lake highs are commonly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows through

| | the wintertime for Echols Lake tend to be in the 20's. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Boston Mountains. Echols Lake Dam is worth visiting while you're here, and dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Fort Smith.
There's so much to do here at Echols Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Terry Campgrounds is a good spot for that; do check out Crowe Hill Reservoir, it's a scenic lake. You'll wish for | |

more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Echols Lake. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Ft. Smith is a perfect choice; Deer Trails Golf Course is a golf course close by. You'll need more than a day to discover
everything Echols Lake has to offer, you can camp at Phoenix Villa Mobile Home Park, and if you're stopping by from Fort Smith, you won't be the only one.
Echols Lake regularly gets much rain; the month of May is the wettest with
most of the rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Boston Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Bailey Hill Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to, and Cedar Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot close by.
