    Why not stop by Dunaway Lake if you're passing through these parts. High temperatures at Dunaway Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Dunaway Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. Dunaway Lake is located in the Boston Mountains. All the water falling down from the sky makes Dunaway Lake a wet spot; May is when you get the most rain  
   here, and the driest of the months is January.
Having a wonderful time in the Boston Mountains is simple. There's so much to do here at Dunaway Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Golden Pond RV Park is a perfect site for that, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Cadron Creek. An attention-grabbing thing to stop by close to Dunaway Lake is Dunaway Lake Dam, and Fairfield Bay Resort is a brilliant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
 
               If you came to camp Golden Pond RV Park is a fine location to do that, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cadron Creek - East Fork.
Getting to Salt Creek from Dunaway Lake is easy, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Heber Springs. But wait, there's more to do near Dunaway Lake.
