Not far from Duck Pond you find Blue Hole; why not camp at Hardy Camper Park since you're here at Duck Pond. Duck Pond is one of the lakes here in the Boston Mountains. Summertime highs at Duck Pond generally tend to be in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Duck Pond temperatures plunge to the 20's. This       lake is so wonderful. Flat Creek is a brilliant local stream, and a pleasant site to camp here at Duck Pond is Deer Run Park. So many amusing things to do in the Boston Mountains, not sufficient time. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Strawberry River; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Village Inn. All the outdoors exciting stuff next to Duck Pond will keep you coming back many times.
