If you need a place to stay Best Western Village Inn is a glorious choice; there are other sites here than Duck Pond, for example Lower Lake - Green Acres Estates. That right there is a load of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Boston Mountains has it all. Spring River - South Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. Duck Pond is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Deer Run Park is a splendid place       to camp nearby, and Upper Lake - Green Acres Estates is a good lake close by. Duck Pond gets a large amount of water; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; January on the other hand is the driest. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Duck Pond. A nice nearby hotel is Days Inn Hardy; do schedule some time to take a look at Blue Hole if you have a chance. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater                  paddling on Strawberry River, and a short tour to Lofferty Springs is always worthwhile. Duck Pond is located in the Boston Mountains. Be careful coming to the Boston Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Flat Creek is a splendid local stream, and you can stay the night at Hardy Camper Park. For the duration of the summer months, highs mostly are in the 90's at Duck Pond with night lows in the 60's.
