Dot Hole is a wet spot that gets a good deal of precipitation; through May this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. At Dot Hole through the days of summer highs are in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Dot Hole dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Since you're here at Dot Hole why       not pop by Dan Hollow, and if you came for an overnight stay Boxhound Marina and Resort is a tremendous site to camp. Camping is available at Strawberry River Campground, and the panorama of delightful Bat Knob Hill is brilliant. Dot Hole is located in the Boston Mountains.
