If you like lakes and you're in this part of Arkansas you can check out Dillon Lake. The high level of precipitation makes Dillon Lake a reasonably wet spot; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is regularly the driest month. All our national parks are brilliant places to stop at, and Hot Springs National Park is no exception, and unsurprisingly, this is a tremendous neighborhood for people who like lakes, Bethel Lake is a lake in the

| | vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. The sight of beautiful Blowout Mountain near Dillon Lake is great, and if you came to camp Phil's Mobile Home Park is a glorious place to do that.
There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Dillon Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Hot Springs Ar Travelodge, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Hot Springs. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Magic Hills Public Golf | |

Course. That right there is plenty of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Ouachita Mountains has it all. There are some great whitewater spots on Saline River - Middle Fork, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself
at Whittington Spring.
Summertime highs at Dillon Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows
in the 20's for Dillon Lake. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Ouachita Mountains. Why not pop by Dillon Dam since you're here, and if you come at the right time of year, Gulpha Creek offers
some great whitewater. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains.
Howard Johnson Inn is a glorious place to get some rest, and Dillon Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Gulpha Gorge Campground is a pleasant local campground.
