Summer brings highs in the 90's to De Queen Lake. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's; nighttime lows all through the winter for De Queen Lake tend to be in the 20's. Just can't get enough of the Ouachita Mountains. Robinson Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot next to De Queen Lake,       and do explore Process City Lake, it's a pretty lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes De Queen Lake a wet site; through the month of May you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. De Queen Lake is one of the lakes here in the Ouachita Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Western Plaza Inn is a great place to get some rest, and while you're here, you could also pop by stunning Gillham                  Lake. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cossatot River; you might also want to pay a visit to Glen Canyon since you're here at De Queen Lake.
