Here at De Gray Lake there are plenty of people from Arkadelphia, and Blakely Creek - North Fork has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on De Roche Creek, and hey, De Gray Creek is a brilliant local stream. So much cool stuff in the Ouachita Mountains, just mind-boggling.                  Very delightful water scenery is available at De Gray Dam in the vicinity of De Gray Lake, and a golf course nearby is Degray Lake Resort State Park Golf Course. All the water falling down from the sky makes De Gray Lake a wet place; May is the wettest month with most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. De Gray Lake is not the only location close by, Degray Reregulating Lake is a close by lake; after a long day outdoors Best Western Continental Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Hot Springs National Park is a national park worth a visit. At De Gray Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
