So much fun stuff to do at Dawson Lake, so little time. A tour to Hot Springs National Park is worthwhile. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Dawson Lake temperatures are frequently in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Dawson Lake. Executive Inn & Suites is a       fine site to get some rest, and paddling on Saline River - Alum Fork is so much fun. The high level of rain makes Dawson Lake a relatively wet place; May is when you get the most rain here while January is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Ouachita River, and a good place to camp here at Dawson Lake is J B's RV Park and Campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Ouachita Mountains.                  Lakes are such serene sites, why not pop by Barr Lake right next door to Dawson Lake; if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Malvern is a fine choice. Dawson Lake is one of the lakes here in the Ouachita Mountains.
