Here at Davis Lake you can make out Burton Hill; don't leave Davis Lake without first checking out Logan Point. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Davis Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Batesville, and Davis Lake is a fine place to camp, Whitewater Travel Park is a fine place. But wait, there's more to do near Davis Lake. Possum Walk Creek has       a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Fiddlers Inn is a wonderful choice. A good deal of rainfall falls at Davis Lake; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. All year is a wonderful time in the Boston Mountains if you like the outdoors. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Davis Lake has to offer, you can camp at Blue Sky RV Park; Mountain                  View-Days Inn is a splendid place to get some rest. Summer at Davis Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Davis Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. Cookfield Branch is next to Davis Lake and is always a joy to go to, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wolf Bayou.
