A wonderful close by hotel is Holiday Inn, and not far from Davis Lake you'll hit upon Jackson Lake which is a stunning lake. Camping at Davis Lake is great fun, Oakley Estates Mobile Home Park is a great local campground, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Little Rock-North Little Rock for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Near Davis Lake you find a golf course called       Hickory Creek Golf Course & Driving Range, and Econo Lodge Jacksonville is a splendid place to get some rest. Summertime at Davis Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; overnight lows in the 20's for Davis Lake. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Davis Lake. You can run the rapids of Cadron Creek - East Fork close to Davis Lake.                  If you came for an overnight stay Crystal Springs Campground is a fine spot to camp, and Davis Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out.
