There's some flowing water close by, Buster Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here, and if you get bored of Cypress Lake you could also go to nearby Millwood Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Quality Inn Texarkana is a magnificent spot to get some rest; camping at Texarkana RV Park is always a great experience. Throughout the warmest time of the year       highs here at Cypress Lake reach the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Cypress Lake. If only every location had this much outdoors fun things, what a great earth it would be. Cypress Bayou is an exciting swamp close to Cypress Lake, and if you want to have a look at some out of the ordinary stuff, have a look at Baker                  Bend. Red Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and Cypress Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Texarkana KOA is a nice local campground.
