Stay the night at Boxhound Marina and Resort, and get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Strawberry River. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Crown Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Crown Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout       winter nights. Crown Lake is a beautiful lake in the Boston Mountains. Crown Lake mostly gets a great deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Cedar Glade Golf Course; a lake nearby is Diamond Lake. Crown Lake is a delightful location to camp, Strawberry River Campground                  is a delightful location, and an exciting thing to pop by near Crown Lake is Crown Lake Dam. That right there is a lot of exciting things already but it goes on, the Boston Mountains has it all. Be careful coming to the Boston Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Spring River - South Fork, and Bens Creek is close to Crown Lake and is always a pleasure to stop at. All the outdoors entertaining things next to Crown Lake will keep you coming back persistently.
