Why not go to nearby Smackover Creek if you're here at Crane Lake, and Crane Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Grand Marais Campground is a great local campground. All through the warm months at Crane Lake highs are mostly in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are generally in the 50's with temperatures at       Crane Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Long Lake Slough are fun to stop at, and if you came to camp Silver Eagle RV Campground is a brilliant location to do that. The high level of rain makes Crane Lake a relatively wet site; March is the wettest month with most rain, and August is when it's the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites El Dorado, Ar. There are other                  places here than Crane Lake, for example Nickey Lake, and Super 8 Motel - Smackover is a good site to get some rest. Haidee Shoals is a magnificent spot to stop at in close proximity to Crane Lake. Lakes? Sure, Ditch Lake is around here. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Crane Lake.
