A visit to Crain Lake is always a good idea. This lake is one of the great places here in the Boston Mountains. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Ft. Smith is a delightful choice, and you're in all probability hooked on lakes, Wildcat Mountain Lake is one of those close by. Crain Lake gets lots of water; the month with most of the rain is May, and January on the other hand is the driest.

| | a great vicinity for folks who like lakes. Crowe Hill Reservoir is a lake close at hand, and Crain Lake is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Overland RV Park is a perfect place to camp nearby. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Crain Lake is not far at all from Fort Smith, and paddling on Cedar Creek - West Fork is so much fun.

day you obtain a panorama of Wildcat Mountain from Crain Lake, and Terry Campgrounds is a perfect local campground. Throughout the summertime here at Crain Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 90's, and throughout the night
it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Crain Lake are in the 20's. This place, the Boston Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. A great nearby hotel is Baymont
Inn & Suites Fort Smith, and Cedar Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by.
You can take a little visit to Crain Lake Dam while you're here at Crain Lake, and for you golfers we recommend nearby FT Smith Country Club.
