Cox Lake is always a pleasure to visit. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cossatot River; do go to Hillcrest Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Ouachita Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Shadow Mountain RV Park And Campground; there's some attention-grabbing stuff to spot at Cox Lake Dam close to Cox Lake.
Summer brings highs in the 90's to Cox Lake.

For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Cox Lake. Ouachita Mountains. Brushy Creek is a good whitewater spot close to Cox Lake, and if you need a location to stay Western Plaza Inn is a fine choice.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Cox Lake a wet spot; most of the
rain falls all through May, and the driest of the months is January. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area close to Cox Lake has to offer. You'll hit upon a gorgeous lake called Ward Lake near Cox Lake.
